Snatch! Snatch was developed because I grew tired of not having a icon editor that ran on my Newton, at least one that produced soups that were compatible with Newt(1) or VisualNewt(2). I didn't have the technical knowledge to write a full icon editor, so I did the next best thing. I wrote a program to Snatch (or beg, borrow, or steal) the icons right out of Icon Editor(3) by Standalone. This program is mostly a hack to fill a gap, and it is my hope that someone will release a better icon editor for the Newton that is compatible with Newt/VisualNewt. Snatch! is worthless without Icon Editor which is available with Standalone's FreezeMan. (Great program, BTW.) Be sure to go to Standalone's site and get it. NOTES: 1. Newt was written by Steve Weyer. See http://www.netaxs.com/~weyer/newton/releases.html 2. VisualNewt was written by Serg Koren See http://www.visualnewt.com 3. Icon Editor was written by Ben Gottlieb See http://www.standalone.com - Icon Editor is available by downloading FreezeMan. MACS: Snatch is delivered in package format only. Sorry, I don't use a Mac so I can't (currently) deliver packages that are Mac-Correct.
